Top UAE golf tour operators and journalists conduct fact-finding on Wicklow

A group of golf tour operators and journalists from the UAE are visiting Wicklow and Ireland to play some of our golf courses and experience some of our tourist attractions.

The trip coincides with the 2022 Horizon Irish Open at Mount Juliet, where they are special guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.

The purpose of the field trip was to highlight that Ireland offers some of the best golf courses in the world, with something for everyone from beginners to professionals, as well as spectacular scenery and a wonderful experience.

Their action-packed itinerary includes a round of golf at Druids Heath, a visit to Powerscourt Golf Club and a visit to Powerscourt Distillery. They were staying at the Druid Glen Hotel.
