The city council approved the permit on Monday, which will run from December 2022 to November 2023. In the approved changes, the Beech will extend entertainment hours by five hours until 9 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The 11am start time remains unchanged.
“We don’t have entertainment this year,” said Beech managing partner Kevin Gaudreau. “We thought it would be a great addition to what we’re doing there.”
According to Gaudreau, for example, the idea was for the harpist to hold a bridal shower on the terrace. Bands using electronic instruments are not planned. The council approved the application, but compromised the warning that the use of magnifying instruments was prohibited after 4pm
At Narragansett cafes, councilors approved a one-hour extension to allow live music until 12.30am Monday to Saturday. Hours will remain 1-4pm and 4-7pm on Sunday.

Council approves Saturday and Sunday noon to 8pm entertainment hours at JB’s on the Water at the Bay Voyage. Although the restaurant applied for an extension until 11pm, the restaurant withdrew its request to cooperate with the complaining neighbor.

In 2021-22, these hours will start at 10am and Grapes & Gourmet has also applied for and received a permit for reduced hours of operation. Their liquor license is limited to 10am to 8pm daily, an hour off on both ends.
Our tables will be modified from 4pm-10pm daily to Thursday-Sunday 4pm-10pm.
