FJ began producing right-hand drives in countries including Australia, South Africa, Japan and New Zealand in 2011, and sales exceeded expectations. But when the US announced that 2014 would be the last year for the FJ there, we thought the end of the model was coming.
Australia and other right-hand drive markets used the FJ until 2017, but when RHD production ceased, we thought it was the last time we saw it.
