As more details of the unfortunate incident that took place at Travis Scott’s annual Astroworld Festival emerged last week, his spokesperson spoke on his behalf.
On Friday, the former mayor of Baltimore and current Travis spokesperson Stephanie Rawlings joined Gayle King’s “CBS Morning,” to help express his grief over the situation and his plan to help those affected by the tragedy.
Stephanie talked about Travis’ fault of what happened at the festival, and said: “They have a 59-page operating plan, which clearly shows that only two people have the right to stop the concert. It’s an executive system. Filmmaker and concert producer. He is not responsible for this, but he wants to be responsible for the solution.”
Stephanie also reported that Travis went to Dave and Buster’s party after a chaotic performance during the festival. She shared that Travis and his team had taken time to regroup and they didn’t know what happened until a few hours later.
“They tried to figure out what happened. A few hours after the concert ended, they really discovered the tragedy, how the tragedy unfolded. He didn’t stop grieving for these families. He knew who he was because of his fans. He The love for fans is so deep,” she said.
Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, spokesperson for Travis Scott, said that the rapper didn’t realize the tragedy of Astroworld until a few hours after the event.
