Triumph Product Support – Grand Prairie, a third-party engine parts maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service provider wholly owned by the Triumph Group, recently signed an agreement with Sanad, a global aerospace engineering and rental solutions company, to supply engine accessories V2500 engines MRO service on Sanad service.
“We are excited to further strengthen our relationship with Sanad as we together serve a region with some of the most ambitious and rapidly expanding airlines and meet the growing demand for solutions that support next-generation engines,” Daniel said J. Crowley, Chairman, President and CEO of TRIUMPH.
Under the agreement, the two companies will establish the Middle East’s first engine parts repair and overhaul center of excellence in Abu Dhabi by 2024.
Upon opening, the center will provide MRO solutions for V2500, T700, GEnx; LEAP engine parts repair and overhaul; and MRO solutions for multiple engine types used by aerospace industry operators in the Middle East, Africa, Turkey and India.
The two companies signed the agreement at the U.S. Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit in Pittsburgh.
Abu Dhabi-based Sanad works with original equipment manufacturers and industry-leading airlines.
TRIUMPH in Berwyn designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs and overhauls aerospace and defense systems and components.
