UAE: Ajman police chief honors ‘firefighting children’ for supporting police

Ajman: Ajman police chief honored a girl for preparing breakfast for officers on duty in a residential area that was recently caught on fire.

Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ajman Police, received Fatima Al Mazmi, nicknamed “Son of Fire”, and his family at the offices of the Police Headquarters, in the presence of Lieutenant Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al Kaabi, Chief of the Al Madina Integrated Police Station.

This was in appreciation of her efforts in supporting the police and security teams dealing with the recent fire in the Pearl Residential Area, Al Rashidiya District 1. Major General Al Nuaimi praised the efforts of the girl and her mother over the days to provide support during the maintenance of the tower.

Fatima used to prepare breakfast for the police every day to thank them for their efforts to repair the tower as soon as possible and allow residents to return home safely.

“Spirit of the UAE”

The police chief said the support shows the generosity of the UAE people, from the leadership to the children, and wished Fatima and her family continued success, health and wellbeing.

The girl’s parents expressed their happiness with this gracious gesture. They said providing support to police and rescue teams was the least that could be done to show appreciation for their efforts to save lives and build safety.

“We wish them continued success and excellence in their path to safety and community protection,” they added.
