UAE allows electronic extension of entry permits

[ad_1]

UAEICP states that entry permits are issued electronically 48 hours after receipt and processing of eligible service requests. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The announcement explained that extending the entry permit electronically requires three steps, first registering and creating an account in the smart service system, then submitting the application and paying the fee, and finally extending the entry permit, noting that a valid passport must be provided to the sponsored person .

The extension of the Tourist Entry Permit is two 30 days, which can be done through the travel company, and the extension of the Visiting Entry Permit, and the application, issuance and electronic service fee for each Entry Permit Tour and Visit amounts to Dh610.

The entry permit extension for residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries is 30 days and costs AED 710 for application, issuance and electronic services, with a copy of the passport attached as part of the required documents.

The extension periods of the three entry permits are all over 30 days. The first is a therapeutic entry permit, which can be extended for 90 days at a cost of Dh510. A 90-day extension costs Dh610.

From October 2018, the authorities allow visitors and tourists in the UAE to apply for extensions of visitor and tourist visas and various types of entry permits (regardless of length) for a period of 30 days and only twice, regardless of the validity period of the original visa, without leaving United Arab Emirates.

Violators who exceed the visa period without renewing it in accordance with the stipulated rules and time will be fined Dh100 for each day of delay after 10 days after the entry permit or visa expires, and the extension date is from the expiry date of the previous entry permit.
