NAWABSHAH – Nasir Hussain Shah, Minister of Local Government of Sindh, together with the United Arab Emirates ambassador and other officials, took a bird’s-eye view of different areas including Nawabshah to assess the damage caused by rain and flooding. However, he added that the Sindh provincial government is working urgently to mitigate the impact of the damage.
He said the Sindh government, with the help of the federal government and friendly counties, was working hard to restore rain and flood victims. He informed that Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed, the Sheikh’s representative in Al Dhafra (UAE), provided relief supplies and sent a high-level delegation to determine the damage caused by rain and flooding. loss. Nasir said the UAE has sent a delegation to Pakistan and will visit areas affected by the rains and submit reports. The minister thanked the UAE for being the first country to provide relief aid to Pakistan.
UAE Ambassador Hamad alzabi, General Bakhet Alrometi and UAE Red Crescent Secretary-General Hanooda Aljanebi said that the UAE government and people stand with Pakistanis during this difficult time, saying the purpose of the visit to Pakistan is to identify areas affected by flooding and Victims provide relief.
Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Aamir Hussain Panhwer, SSP Captain (Retd) Ameer Saud Magsi and other officers were also present. Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner informed the provincial minister and the UAE ambassador of the damage caused by the rains and floods.
