Key areas of cooperation
>> The two sides agreed that strengthening bilateral cooperation in the following areas is conducive to the common interests of the two countries and identified them as priority areas for key cooperation.
Politics, diplomacy and international cooperation
>> They envisioned increasing the frequency of high-level visits and diplomatic exchanges, establishing common bilateral priorities and agendas, and strengthening political dialogue and diplomatic consultations.
>> The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to establishing an international order with the United Nations as the core and rules-based. They will explore opportunities for cooperation in multilateral institutions, including the United Nations, to promote and strengthen effective multilateralism, including the promotion of tolerance and human rights.
>> The two countries envision working together to promote tolerance, combat international crime, extremism and terrorism, and work together to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Economy, energy, trade, direct investment and sectoral partnerships

>> The two countries will seek cooperation opportunities, promote the exchange of best economic practices and knowledge, provide support for the capacity building and development of innovative sustainable economies, and further expand mutual trade support and cooperation in the field of infrastructure projects.
>> The UAE and Austria will use the existing visa-free agreements to strengthen cooperation in the tourism sector and coordinate their respective industry policies by encouraging relevant institutions to share research, data and market insights.
>> Both countries emphasize the importance of information and communication technology and digitization in the public and private sectors, and plan to cooperate and exchange best practice cases in this field. They will also work together to advance their industrial partnership, focusing on 4IR technology.
>> They intend to strengthen cooperation between the petrochemical and oil and gas industries throughout the value chain. The two parties also plan to strengthen cooperation in the field of renewable energy including solar and wind energy, especially exploring the possibility of cooperation in the fields of hydrogen energy and other innovative energy technologies, energy efficiency and conservation, such as sharing technical knowledge, skills and expertise Knowledge.

Implement strategic comprehensive partnership
