Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce Director General Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri received a high-level delegation from China’s Jiangsu Overseas Cooperation and Investment Corporation (JOCIC) at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce building.

The delegation was led by Zou Yonggang, the company’s CEO, and included the heads and members of the Sino-Arab Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone developed and operated by JOCIC, as well as representatives of several Chinese provincial commercial departments in the UAE, including the Shandong Provincial Commercial Representative Office, Hunan Commercial Representative Office in the Middle East, Yunnan Commercial Representative Office in the United Arab Emirates, and Jiangsu Provincial Economic and Trade Representative Office in the United Arab Emirates.

Al Mheiri praised the visit of the Chinese delegation, praising the UAE’s strong relationship with China at all levels, especially the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, which has led to a significant increase in trade between the two countries.

The Director General explained in detail the Chamber’s services and initiatives, as well as the Chamber’s role in developing and organizing Abu Dhabi’s business affairs and enhancing the competitiveness of businesses in the emirate.

“Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce is ready to work hand in hand with JOCIC to provide Chinese investors and entrepreneurs with all the facilities and information they need and overcome all the challenges they face,” he said, noting that working closely with JOCIC JOCIC will enable both countries A shared vision for sustainable development and forging new partnerships.

Yonggang emphasized that all members of the delegation are eager to interact with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, describing it as the voice of the Abu Dhabi business community to support, promote, enhance and protect the commercial interests of enterprises. Emirate.

“We are eager to better understand what specific policies, initiatives or services the Chamber can offer to the business community so that we can better guide and support investors or traders from China doing business in the UAE, especially in Abu Dhabi,” he added.

The CEO stated that he is eager to establish a long-term partnership with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and is constantly seeking opportunities to further collaborate with the local business community. Yong Gang pointed out that his company, JOCIC, is an investor, developer and operator of the China-UAE Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone, a large-scale industrial project in Kizad covering an area of ​​12.2 square kilometers, emphasizing the importance of the demonstration zone. The mission aims to attract and enable industrial investment through high-quality infrastructure and integrated services, enhance the UAE’s position in the industrial value chain, and reshape the global supply chain by promoting global participation in China’s advanced industrial capabilities, which is in line with Abu Dhabi. than Economic Vision 2030 and the goals of China’s Belt and Road Initiative.

Earlier, Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, First Vice-President of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stressed the importance of leveraging existing opportunities and strengthening business relationships and supporting investment collaborations between Abu Dhabi business leaders and companies working in Egypt colleagues, for the benefit of the two peoples.

He made the statement during a visit to the Confederation of Egyptian Industry (FEI) Investment and Exchange Committee, headed by Dr. Mahmoud Monir Soliman, Deputy Secretary of the Board of FEI and Chairman of Liaison for Investments, Investors and Business Organizations, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce Committee and Arquarzo Chairman of the company group.

Al Dhaheri welcomed the Egyptian delegation and highlighted opportunities for UAE and Egyptian companies to strengthen cooperation in several important areas, while noting that Abu Dhabi has become an important international hub for global companies wishing to establish regional branches in the UAE.

He then affirmed the Chamber’s keenness to encourage cooperation, promote economic, industrial and investment relations with FEI, and organize investment delegations to visit Egypt.

Dr Soliman said the federation was eager to strengthen the ties between the two parties and to showcase the significant opportunities in Egypt, especially in glass production.

He invited the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Emirate business leaders to take advantage of investment opportunities in Egypt, to learn about major investment opportunities in various industrial sectors by visiting the “Chamber of Industry” and to strengthen the overall cooperation between Egypt and the UAE.
