The envoy further pointed out that women in the country today constitute an important part of its labor force and have made positive contributions to the country’s growth and development. He said that women accounted for 60% of the UAE’s workforce and 30% of ambassador positions were held by women. He said: “The role of women in the UAE is increasing due to the main focus on gender equality.”

The envoy stated that so far, the UAE has issued 44,000 “golden visas”.

When talking about the newly formed groups of India, the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Israel, Albana said that he is preparing to hold a ministerial meeting between the four partner countries.
