Albanna also listed the UAE’s achievements in various fields in the past five years, and said that renewable energy, information technology, education and healthcare will become key areas of focus in the next 50 years. “In addition to cooperation in traditional oil and gas fields, we are also closely cooperating with India in areas such as artificial intelligence and IT.”

He said that the UAE has become one of the fastest growing economies in the world and has witnessed an impressive economic and urban revolution.

Albana also said that the two countries are moving towards finalizing a comprehensive economic partnership agreement in the first half of next year.

The envoy further pointed out that women in the country today constitute an important part of its labor force and have made positive contributions to the country’s growth and development. He said that women accounted for 60% of the UAE’s workforce and 30% of ambassador positions were held by women. He said: “The role of women in the UAE is increasing due to the main focus on gender equality.”

The envoy stated that so far, the UAE has issued 44,000 “golden visas”.

When talking about the newly formed groups of India, the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Israel, Albana said that he is preparing to hold a ministerial meeting between the four partner countries. The four foreign ministers will soon announce the group’s “track” and cooperation areas. “This is an economic district focused on commerce and trade,” he emphasized.
