In a statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Dr. Adnan Olwan, Major General (retired) of the Armed Forces and expert on leadership and strategic management of crises and emergencies in Jordan, said the summit aims to predict the future and develop collaboration among all countries to respond to crises. system, the UAE has been at the forefront of delivering initiatives to address global challenges.
Egypt Sustainable Development Forum – Dr. Emadeldin Adly Abdelaziz, Cairo expert and executive director, praised the UAE’s unique crisis management model and its efforts to strengthen its leadership in the field by mobilizing international cooperation to build innovative and sustainable responses to crisis disasters .
He noted that the summit provides an important global platform that brings together experts and specialists from around the world, who gather in Abu Dhabi to exchange experiences and work on developing future action plans to address all anticipated challenges.
Myriam Urzúa Venegas, Head of the Risk Management and Civil Protection Secretariat in Mexico City, confirmed that the UAE is a leading country in taking creative steps to respond to national, regional and international emergencies and crises. The UAE has demonstrated a unique global response during the pandemic affecting the entire world.
She further emphasized that the summit was a great success, which created impetus for international cooperation to foresee future emergencies and crises and strive for practical solutions. The UAE believes in international cooperation as a fundamental pillar to achieve development and respond to challenges and turn them into opportunities for growth and development.
