Bee Café in Abu Dhabi is the first cafe entirely run by determined people and will welcome visitors at a second location.
Abu Dhabi Ministry of Health (DoH) Chairman Abdulla bin Mohamed Al Hamed (Abdulla bin Mohamed Al Hamed) on Sunday as “Bee Cafe for People of Determination” (Bee Cafe for People of Determination) Inauguration of its first external branch, which belongs to the Zayed Senior Organization (ZHO) Determination.
The new branch of this cafe is located at DoH headquarters and is built on DoH’s continuous efforts and investment in medical support and community programs that are tailored specifically for determined people. The main purpose of the cafe is to empower and support disabled people by providing opportunities for them to become active members of society while promoting their personal and professional development.
The cafe employs five determined Emirati and is open from 8 am to 5 pm on weekdays. Bee Cafe offers a variety of specialty coffees and a variety of healthy snacks, including vegan cookies from Alia Al Zaabi, the entrepreneur behind the “I Can Cookies” project.
The proceeds of the cafe will be used for determined people.

DoH cooperates with ZHO to equip cafes with equipment in accordance with world-class norms and standards. The staff participated in a six-month training program during which they learned how to prepare drinks and food, the art of hospitality and catering services, and the basics of hygiene, disinfection and first aid.
The first branch of this cafe is located at the headquarters of the Zayed Higher Organization in Al Mafraq.
