[Georgetown, Guyana] – The founder and CEO of a major property development and engineering design firm in the United Arab Emirates arrived in Guyana on Sunday evening to spend the next two days meeting with senior government and private sector officials on opportunities presented by the country’s broad agenda Infrastructure, housing and related developments.

“As such, Mr Jaber is visiting Guyana to better understand and appreciate Guyana’s massive development agenda, driven by its new status as an oil and gas producer and the myriad opportunities that result, especially in luxury Real estate and public infrastructure development in areas such as lifestyle development, commercial real estate,” revealed Mr Sawaqed. He said that some preliminary agreements have been reached with a local company, and with the establishment of an office in Guyana, efforts will be made to collaborate with other companies to take advantage of opportunities in other CARICOM member states, as well as in the Caribbean and Latin America regions in general.
