The digital link between MoHRE and ICP is in line with the objectives of the UAE Digital Government Strategy 2021-2025 to strengthen the UAE’s role in the field of customer service with advanced technology. Through this link, MoHRE transfers the transaction to ICP to complete the process within minutes, increasing efficiency and ensuring data accuracy.
Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the ICP, said: “In line with the directives of the UAE’s wise leadership and in line with the UAE Centennial Plan 2071, which aims to improve the quality of life in the community, we are working to accelerate the development of government services. Our goal is to achieve The comprehensive link between government services, procedures and transactions can be automated, and the comprehensive digital transformation can be accelerated.”
He added: “Our aim is to simplify procedures, accelerate digital transformation and improve the customer journey by increasing efficiency, reducing time, effort and speed of completion. We are happy to work with all government entities on this, especially HR and Ministry of the Emirates.”

From the beginning of 2022 to the end of October, the number of transactions completed via the digital bridge between MoHRE and UAE ICP exceeded 4.7 million – 1.2 million of which included issuance of new contracts, issuance and renewal of residence permits for domestic helpers, change of employer (change of status), Cancellation of domestic work permits for domestic workers (cancellation of entry permits), cancellation of overseas work permits of domestic workers (cancellation of entry permits), cancellation of labor contracts of foreign domestic helpers (residence permits), cancellation of domestic employment contracts of domestic workers (residence permits), absconding complaints, etc. joint service.
Over the same period, the number of transactions related to private sector employers and employees completed through the digital link between MoHRE and ICP exceeded 3,519,000, which included checking date of entry, cancellation of labor cards, golden residence transactions, temporary work permits, part-time work permits, etc.
