If you’re tired of the usual summer camps and looking for something different for your kids as they prepare for the long summer vacation and their parents are still busy, here are some camps that offer unique experiences.

Many camps in Dubai focus on building students’ stamina and honing a child’s emotional intelligence.

Through a wide variety of activities, camp workshops are being customized to improve children’s physical and mental coordination, ultimately aiming at improving flexibility, focus and concentration.

1. Parkour Summer Camp

If your child is not adventurous and hates jumping or risky activities then book your child into these healthy and exciting classes where they will learn all the basic areas of movement or parkour, jumping, climbing, vaulting, Swing and balance while developing determination and building stamina.

Summer camps, held from 3 July to 25 August, will be held in Al Quoz, Port Rashid and JVC’s Circle Mall in Dubai, catering to students of all ages and skill levels.

Book by Sunday, June 4 to get a 30% early bird discount. Prices are AED 770 for Super Early Bird Camp AM, AED 693 for Super Early Bird Camp PM and AED 770 for Super Early Bird Wallaby Camp.

2. Aventura Indoor Summer Camp

This camp has tons of nature and sustainable activities around eight weeks of exciting themes like Under the Sea, Lost in Space, Jurassic Week, Forest Life, Forensic Week, Olympic Camp and more.

All camps build life skills, including Science Made Fun, art, elements of nature and sustainability, and team-building activities that keep campers moving forward as they learn more about each other and themselves.

From Monday 10 July to Friday 18 August 2023, these weekly hands-on camps are designed for children aged 5 to 12. Campers will make friends and learn new things at Camp Aventura at the Bright Learners Private School.

It’s located in Mirdif and runs summer camps from 9am to 2pm every week for Dh725 per week. Extended day price/hour/camper is AED 35/hour.

3. OliOli’s Summer Camp

OliOli’s Summer Blast Camps returns with specially curated activities to keep the kids engaged. Jurassic Blast promises to transport kids into Jurassic past with RAWR – active exploration and hands-on activities that virtually bring dinosaurs to kids.

Cosmic Blast will bring kids into interstellar space through a variety of challenges and workshops. Mess Blast brings splash-filled action. Tinker Blast is a workshop that is said to inspire creativity in children through a variety of craft activities.

Available in three options, the “Morning Blast” is priced at Dh990 per week, the “Afternoon Blast” is priced at Dh690 per week, and the “All-day Blast” is priced at Dh1450 per week.

4.Eduscan

Focused on progressive academy training and skill development sites, Eduscan camps are run by licensed educational psychologist Dr. Alka Kalra.

In addition to public speaking, creative thinking, memory and concentration, participants in different training programs learn swimming, ice skating, brain fitness, arts and crafts, mindfulness, karate, sports and culminates with a parent stage performance.

From 3 July to 26 August, prices start from AED 311 per week, with venues in Karama, Muhaisnah, DIP and Al Qusais in Dubai, and even a camp in Sharjah.

5. Green Planet

The summer camping experience at the Dubai Indoor Rainforest will resume from 2 June to 29 September. Families can enjoy the opportunity to sleep with the animals in the Biodome from the comfort of their tents. Sleeping bags are even provided for overnight stays.

The Green Planet camping experience begins at 7pm with a package that includes dinner and breakfast at the Rainforest Café the next morning. Two adults in a regular tent cost AED 750 and children can join for AED 200 per child. If you’re a group of four, you can opt for a larger tent at AED 1450, with additional members at AED 300 per person or AED 200 per child.
