The UAE has dispatched a plane carrying 52 metric tons of food to serve Ukrainian migrants in Bulgaria, the Dubai News Agency announced on Thursday.
A statement said the aid was part of an attempt to “mitigate the humanitarian impact of Ukrainian refugees in neighbouring countries”.

Earlier this month, the United Arab Emirates shipped 27 tons of food and medical supplies to Ukrainian migrants in Poland.
As part of the $5 million pledge, Ukraine has sent 156 tonnes of food, medical aid and ambulances to Poland and Moldova on six flights since the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine.
