Dukab UAE-based end-to-end solutions provider and manufacturing company Group has expanded its presence in India, opening a new office in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
DukabThe opening of the first offices in India and Southeast Asia will facilitate the Group’s operations and presence in the region and support the company’s overall growth strategy.
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, who attended the opening of the new office, said: “The UAE and India share common interests and both have the resources and capabilities to strengthen industrial manufacturing. The comprehensive economic partnership signed in 2022 The Relationship Agreement (CEPA) further promotes commercial relations between the two countries, enabling businesses to invest and expand their operations, and to facilitate cross-border trade and forge new and constructive partnerships on the largest scale.
“This new trade and investment landscape is helping to achieve one of the UAE government’s top five priorities for 2023, which is ‘expanding the UAE’s international economic partnerships’.”

Dukab has long-standing ties to India

The group started its operations in India more than three decades ago in 1988, supplying cables to Navashiva Port (Mumbai Port).

In recent news, Ducab and Union Pipes Industry (UPI) signed an agreement with Borouge to build Borouge 4 using their materials for energy production and infrastructure applications.
Ducab will produce low and medium voltage cables to power Borouge 4 using Borouge’s energy solutions, while UPI will use Borouge’s ‘Made in UAE’ solution to produce pressure piping for Borouge 4’s cooling and sanitation systems.
Ducab Group CEO Mohammad Almutawa said at the meeting: “Strategic partnerships with national champions in industry are in line with the goals of the 300 billion action plan to create domestic value and increase economic competitiveness. This contract will pave the way for more future collaborations to serve our common goals .”
