UAE Eid al-Adha: Dubai Police Chief Issues Consultation-News

The force urged residents to abide by laws and regulations and take all Covid-19 preventive measures.

The Chief of Dubai Police said that during the UAE Eid al-Adha celebrations, residents must avoid reckless driving on public roads, unauthorized use of firecrackers and cycling in unspecified areas.

Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Almari, commander-in-chief of the Dubai Police, also urged parents to pay attention to their children, especially in parks.

“Parents can never leave their children unattended,” Almari said in a message to Dubai residents on Eid al-Adha on Monday.

“The Dubai Police has completed all preparations for the Eid al-Adha. We have also developed an action plan for all integrated departments and police stations to strengthen various patrols on the internal and external roads of the emirate,” Al Marri said.

“We urge everyone to abide by laws and regulations and follow all Covid-19 preventive measures to ensure public safety. I urge people not to commit any illegal acts that may disrupt public peace,” he added.

Almari, on behalf of the Dubai Police Headquarters, addressed His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Heartfelt greetings; His Royal Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces; Members of the Supreme Council and His Royal Highness the Ruler of the Emirates; and UAE residents on Eid al-Adha Occasion.
