UAE: Emirates Uganda flights suspended until at least August 7, Nepal flights “restricted”-News

The UAE has suspended passenger flights from 16 countries/regions.

Dubai-based Emirates announced that it will suspend passenger flights from Uganda until at least August 7, 2021, while flights from Nepal to the UAE will be restricted.

The airline confirmed the suspension of the aforementioned flights when responding to travel inquiries on Twitter.

The airline stated that passengers who transited through Uganda in the past 14 days will not be accepted to travel to the UAE from any other location.

UAE nationals and their first-degree relatives, UAE Golden Visa holders, members of diplomatic missions recognized by the UAE and the two countries in compliance with the latest Covid-19 agreement, as well as delegations and businessmen who have obtained prior approval, will be exempted from the airline Added that for travel.

Earlier this week, the UAE authorities announced a Suspend the entry of passengers from 16 countries Until further notice.

Flights to India and Pakistan will continue to be suspended

The authorities stated that transit and cargo flights will continue to operate.

The airline urges customers to regularly check travel updates before booking tickets, as the situation “may change at any time.”
