The UAE has suspended passenger flights from 16 countries/regions.
Dubai-based Emirates announced that it will suspend passenger flights from Uganda until at least August 7, 2021, while flights from Nepal to the UAE will be restricted.
The airline confirmed the suspension of the aforementioned flights when responding to travel inquiries on Twitter.
The airline stated that passengers who transited through Uganda in the past 14 days will not be accepted to travel to the UAE from any other location.
