The weekend offered community members in the capital a host of fun-filled family activities, entertainment, concerts, fireworks, the FIFA World Cup, Arabic Language Day celebrations and more.

Visitors to this year’s National Mother’s Day, which ends this Sunday, have plenty to choose from. Celebrate Arabic Language Day
On Sunday, Umm Al Emarat Park hosted a series of creative events to commemorate the contribution of the Arabic language to human civilization and culture. Visitors can enjoy Bait Al Arabi’s puppet shows and hakawati storytelling performances, and avid readers will also have the opportunity to purchase a range of Arabic books that will be on display at Bait Al Arabi.
