UAE: First female police officer appointed at Dubai Police command centre – News

The Dubai Police General Command recently qualified its first batch of female police officers to join the command and control centre after completing a six-month comprehensive training programme.

Female officers, Al Lt. Mira Mohammad Madani; Lieutenant Samar Abdulaziz Jashouh, Lieutenant Kholoud Ahmed Al Abdullah and Lieutenant Bakhita Khalifa Al Ghafli; successfully demonstrated their efficiency in completing the course and conducted multiple field assessments to assess and measure them readiness and knowledge.

The training program includes 24 specialized courses and hands-on training in multiple departments, including the Emergency Response Department, the Guidance and Control Department, and the Office of the Shift Director, which receive communications.

Major General Dr. Mohammad Nasser Al Razooqi, Director General of Operations, said Dubai Police is proud to have an outstanding cadre who shines in various fields. The Force has always sought and utilized all its capabilities, investing in young cadres and equipping them with the necessary skills.

“Female personnel play an important role in ensuring the safety and security of all and are actively taking on tasks and responsibilities that have traditionally been performed by their male counterparts,” he explained.

Maj Gen Al Razooqi reiterated Dubai’s passion for empowering and empowering women across all police fields, professions and positions. He added: “The Force has spared no effort to increase the participation of women in policing and to ensure that they develop and demonstrate their potential to serve the community.”

At the same time, Brigadier General Turki bin Faris confirmed that these female officers showed great dedication and competence, in line with the cognitive and organizational skills and intellectual and security awareness required by their duties as command and control officers of high standards.

The four female officers expressed their gratitude for joining the command and control center, which will continue to inspire them to take on new challenges. “Dubai Police has created an inspiring environment for youth at large, especially women, to ensure that we only strive for excellence,” they explained.
