A new series by people of determination from around the world will be released this weekend.
The Zayed High Organization of People of Determination (ZHO) announced on Tuesday that the social series “Dreams Drawn by Dust”, a social series mainly produced by people of determination, will be released on Netflix on 3 December, to coincide with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The Arabic-language drama will also air on Abu Dhabi Television.
The first social drama produced by determined people in the UAE and other countries, is a project between FilmGate Productions and ZHO.
Produced by FilmGate, the project has strong determination in all roles – including writing, acting, filming and producing.
According to the authorities, the purpose of the production was to show the world that people of determination are capable of doing such work on an international level.
Film production lasted approximately 18 months, with filming of the series taking place primarily in Abu Dhabi.
Abdulla Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of the Zayed People’s Higher Organization of Resolve, told a media briefing that the film project aims to continue the trend of allowing people of all abilities to shine at the highest level.
“This film is an important project for the people of determination in the UAE and the people of the Arab countries,” he said.
“The first social drama produced by people of determination is considered a qualitative leap in their lives because it invests in their creative talents,” he said.
Al Humaidan noted that the organization’s goal is to promote their creativity, support them in coming up with ideas, and encourage entities to invest in those ideas and their owners. “Such support is critical in facilitating their becoming contributors to the creative process and integrating them into an environment that nurtures creativity,” he said.
The official stressed that the organization immediately welcomed the partnership with Film Gate Productions, which provided opportunities for people of all ages, genders, nationalities and abilities to showcase their creative talents.
Mansour Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri, Founder and CEO of Film Gate Productions said: “This is a great and unique project. Most of the actors, as well as the screenwriters, filmmakers and producers are disabled.”

This unprecedented collective team gathered under the umbrella of the Film Gate company, from all over the world, with the support of the Zayed Higher Organization, offers a great deal for the determined. environment for cultural and intellectual exchange. For many other series, this is just the beginning,” Dr. Soha Eman, the series’ executive producer, told Khaleej era.
Series writers and directors were selected from all over the world, including people from almost all Arab countries as well as India, Indonesia and Brazil, with great care and diligence in reviewing submissions and resumes According to the authorities, the committee received more than 300 candidates from all over the world people.
