The UAE’s five-year multiple-entry tourist visa allows visitors (of any nationality) to enter and exit the country multiple times, as long as they stay in the country for 90 days during each visit. Visa holders can also extend it by a further 90 days, bringing the maximum stay to 180 days a year.

This is useful when family members are visiting for business purposes or other recreational purposes. This five-year multiple-entry visa is available to all nationalities.

One can apply for this visa online on the website of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA), the Federal Citizenship, Customs, Identity and Port Security Authority portal or the GDRFA Dubai Smart App. The five-year multiple-entry visa costs approximately US$408 or INR 33,755 (approximately), excluding the application processing fee of INR 2252.54 (approximately).

The UAE became a federation of seven emirates – Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah. Abu Dhabi is the capital and Dubai is one of the most visited cities in the UAE.
