A survey found that with the relaxation of Covid containment measures, 86% of residents plan international holidays
With the relaxation of Covid restrictions and rules around the world, travel and holidays have once again returned to the top of the list of priorities for UAE residents.
In a survey of “thousands of UAE travelers”, about 86% of the respondents expressed their desire to travel abroad.
dnata Travel stated that it conducted the survey in July 2021 and August 2021 “the busiest period for travel in the UAE.”
Among the interviewees, 56% said they plan to travel to Europe in the next holiday. More than half of them plan to stay for one to two weeks.

The five most popular destinations in Europe during the 2021/22 holiday are:

Outside Europe, respondents expressed interest in planning to travel to Asia, with Thailand accounting for the vast majority, followed by the Middle East, North America and the Indian Ocean.
