According to the new category announced on Tuesday, residents who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 will be allowed to enter the country.

The authorities did not specify which vaccines are approved by the UAE.
However, there are five vaccines approved for use in the UAE: Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, Oxford-AstraZeneca, Moderna and Sputnik V.
Covishield is a brand that manages the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine in India, and may also fall within the scope of vaccines approved by the UAE.

“The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine and Covishield are the same vaccine,” the Dubai Health Authority said earlier.
In addition to fully vaccinated residents, other categories of residents allowed to fly from six countries include health workers, teachers, humanitarian cases, and people working in federal and local government agencies.
