Desperate stranded passengers are also looking for quarantine packages via Ethiopia, Doha (Qatar) and Male (Maldives).

All these options require at least AED 6,500 for double occupancy in isolated countries, and AED 8,500 for single occupancy in three-star hotels.

Travel agencies said they will refund customers who have booked quarantine packages.
