A few days ago, Kamlesh also applied for tourist visas for his wife and son. “They flew to Dubai from Ahmedabad. This is my wife and son’s first trip to Dubai.”
Both Preeti and Pritesh were vaccinated, but Kamlesh did not need to show any proof of injection when arranging their travel.
“They just underwent the pre-travel RT-PCR test and another quick test at the airport. After they got off the plane, they performed the third test at DXB.”
After the results were announced, the family set off for Abu Dhabi.

“We stayed at the Dubai-Abu Dhabi border and provided all our documents, including our lease contract. The border authorities updated the details into the system. When we got permission (it took an hour), we went home Yes. Abdul’s wife Nusayba and daughter Amina Rizwan visited the UAE last year and returned to their hometown of Kozhikode in the southern Indian state of Kerala.
“When I heard about the visa issuance, I did not think much about it, so I applied and it was issued soon,” Abdul said.

Amina is currently studying in Kozhikode, but due to Covid’s restrictions, the course is conducted in a virtual way. She plans to study in Dubai next school year.
For other travelers, relaxing restrictions means business.
Since the Covid attack, business between the UAE and India has been affected, but traders and businessmen hope for a good future.
The businessman Aboockar Siddik arrived in Dubai from Hyderabad on Emirates at 1:20 pm.
“The UAE is a place full of opportunities. For the past 15 years, I have been traveling in Dubai. But due to the pandemic, I cannot travel and my business has been hit,” Sidick said.
Siddiq said: “I am very optimistic that Dubai will soon recover from the pandemic. As the Expo 2020 will begin next month, it will become stronger and better for businessmen.”
