UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed discussed regional affairs and energy issues during a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevrut Cavusoglu, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on Saturday.
The meeting reportedly took place on the sidelines of the Sir Banias Forum, where diplomats discussed bilateral relations, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is also expected to attend.

Sheikh Abdullah congratulated Cavusoglu on the resumption of the grain export agreement through the Black Sea, “complimenting the Republic of Turkey for its major efforts to continue the implementation of the agreement…”, WAM reported.
Emirati diplomats also reportedly confirmed the UAE’s interest in investing in Turkey.
Turkey and the United Arab Emirates signed a multi-billion dollar deal last year after talks between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and current UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. US dollar investment agreements, including energy agreements.
Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen al-Marar also attended the meeting as part of the UAE delegation.
