UAE: Foggy weather alert for Abu Dhabi, Dubai, temperatures rise today

Dubai: Some UAE residents woke up to fog this morning. The Met Office has issued a red and amber fog warning, fog is likely to form and horizontal visibility will decrease until 9am this morning, and horizontal visibility may sometimes decrease further in some northern and coastal areas.

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), it will be sunny to partly cloudy by the afternoon, with clouds to the east, possibly some convective clouds, with light rain and warmer temperatures. Moderate to heavy rain was reported in Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman yesterday.

Maximum temperatures in the interior of the country are expected to be between 32 and 36°C. Temperatures will reach 28 to 33°C in coastal areas and islands, and 19 to 24°C in mountains.
