UAE Foreign Minister and Albanian Prime Minister witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement

Tirana [Albania], 7 April (ANI/WAM): Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Edi Rama, Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, underlined the special relationship with the Albanian Prime Minister here as a senior UAE diplomat, who conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as his appreciation for the continued progress and Prosperity wishes. He also praised Albania’s recent development achievements, emphasizing the special relationship between the two countries.

He emphasized his desire to strengthen relations with the Republic of Albania for the common interests of both countries and peoples. Rama, for his part, expressed his desire to strengthen cooperation and partnership between the two countries at all levels, praising the UAE’s pioneering status in the regional and international arena.

After the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah and Eddie Rama witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two countries in the field of cyber security. The agreement was signed by Sulaiman Al Mazrouei, UAE Non-Resident Ambassador to Albania, and Professor Igli Tafa, Director General of Albania’s National Agency for Electronic Authentication and Cybersecurity.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Abdullah and Edirama held a joint press conference, at which the UAE minister expressed his pleasure to be in Tirana. “I am very happy and honored to be back in Tirana. The last time I visited Tirana was about 9 years ago when I had the honor of accompanying His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE .I will never forget the generosity that Albanians turned to Kosovars.” Speaking to the Prime Minister of Albania, Sheikh Abdullah added: “Albania has been able to overcome many challenges over the past period. Shows the dedication of you and your team and the dedication of the people of Albania. Turning the page is not easy but you have always been able to do it and show how tragedies are overcome. Few countries can do this so congratulations you.”

Sheikh Abdullah expressed his pleasure at the continued development of relations with Albania and hopes to strengthen them further and faster, noting that more cooperation can be promoted in various sectors such as energy, infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, etc. Cooperate with many others. “We are proud of the presence of some 12,000 Albanians in the UAE who are doing well and we hope they will continue to feel at home during their stay,” he added.

Albania’s prime minister said, “The UAE is a brotherly country that has supported and helped us when we needed help.” He added, “Relations between the two countries have developed very positively in recent years and I am very grateful to my dear friend The visit of the UAE Foreign Minister, as he is here not only to prove that the UAE is fully eager and willing to embark on the long journey towards a better future, but also to do its utmost to support the normalization process between Serbia and Kosovo and to ensure that all We can work together even more for the future.”

He also expressed his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the people of the UAE for their long-standing support to Albania. The meeting was attended by Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Affairs and International Cooperation Omar Saif Al Ghobash, Assistant Minister of Economic and Commercial Affairs Saeed Mubarak Al Hajri and UAE Non-resident Ambassador to Albania Suleiman Mazroui.
