Rubu’ Qarn Foundation’s initiative aims to provide opportunities for children and teens to improve skills in the field of programming
The Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators launched the “Programmer of the Century” competition with the slogan “We Create a Better Tomorrow”.
Through competitions, the foundation aims to provide children and teens with the opportunity to improve their skills in the field of programming. It also aims to support their creative projects in order to provide the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE with a generation of impactful and effective capabilities that keep pace with the needs of the labour market.
In addition to community engagement, communications and information technology, employment, community support and health services, the competition focused on seven areas – astronomy, outdoor spaces and public buildings, transportation, respect and community integration.​​​
The competition is open to age groups 8-12, 13-17 and 18-31.
Quarter Qarn is open for entry to the competition from now until October 9th, with the registration deadline of October 15th, via the link www.rqstem.ae.
