Residents who are eligible for a long-term golden visa to the UAE, or think that their friends or relatives are, can visit Federal Identity and Citizenship Administration (ICA) application.
10-year visas are granted to investors, entrepreneurs, professionals and researchers in various fields of science and knowledge, as well as bright students with promising scientific capabilities. They must meet certain criteria to qualify for it.
The following is a step-by-step process for using the “nomination service” on the ICA application:
>> Download the “ICA UAE Smart” application
>> Select “Public Service”
>> Select “Golden Service Nomination Application”
>> Fill in the information
>> Attach the required documents
>> Pay the fees.
Service fee and when will it be cancelled automatically
Applicants will be charged a service fee of Dh50. If the application is rejected due to insufficient information or documents, the application will be automatically cancelled after 30 days.
After submitting the required documents, the applicant will receive a text message and email from the relevant authorities to confirm receipt of the application and its progress.
Long-term residents of all doctors
ICA announced earlier that the UAE will grant Golden visas for all residents. All doctors licensed by the UAE health regulatory agency can apply for a golden visa through the website smartservices.ica.gov.ae from July 2021 to September 2022.
A Dubai licensed doctor can apply through smart.gdrfad.gov.ae. Relevant government departments will receive and review applications before issuing visas to eligible persons.
How to check eligibility for students in Abu Dhabi
A new website was recently launched in Abu Dhabi to check whether students are eligible for golden visas.
All parents need to do is to visit www.adro.gov.ae and enter the UAE ID and student number.
