The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security has announced that it has awarded Golden Visas to outstanding students graduating from UAE high schools and universities in 2023.
The Director General of the Authority, Major General Sohail Saeed Al Khalifa, congratulated the graduates on their achievements.
Announced by Sheikh Hamdan in early 2022, the scheme recognizes and rewards top students in Dubai. Emirati students can receive scholarships at the most prestigious international universities at home and abroad, and expatriates can receive financial aid from branch campuses of international universities in free zones and priority issuance of golden visas.
These students graduate from their respective programs in the 2021-22 school year and come from public and private schools and a variety of programs.
The system was inspired by the appreciation given by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to outstanding high school students in the UAE.
Sheikh Mohammed personally calls the top players in high school every year.In fact, earlier this week, the UAE Vice President Known as the highest scoring high school student in the UAE, Yasmin Mahmoud Abdullah Mohammed Ali has been congratulated for her achievement as she topped the pan-UAE public examinations at the end of the 2022-23 semester. The ruler of Dubai tweeted an audio clip of his call with Emirati students on Sunday.
