UAE grants multiple entry tourist visas to Hayya Card holders

[ad_1]

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced that it will issue multiple-entry tourist visas to Hayya card holders who will participate in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

According to the UAE Government Media Office, Hayya Card holders can enter and stay in the UAE for 90 days from the date of visa issuance. The visa can be extended for a further 90 days.

Hayya card holders can enter multiple times within the validity period of the visa. In addition, they can enjoy a one-time visa fee of Dh100.

Visa applications open on 1 November through www.icp.gov.ae. Applicants must select the “Smart Channels” link and then select “Public Services” from the main menu. After that, they must select the “Haya Cardholder” visa from “Public Services” and fill out the application form.

Citizens of visa-exempt countries are excluded from this offer as they can enter and reside in the UAE according to existing procedures.

Saudi Arabia recently announced that it will welcome and approve all Hayya Card holders 10 days before the World Cup begins.

The Saudi foreign ministry said in a statement that holders of Hayya cards will be issued multiple-entry visas valid for 60 days. It also said that it is not necessary to enter Qatar before visiting Saudi Arabia, but tourists need to purchase medical insurance before arriving in Saudi Arabia.

Further details will be provided.
