A young Emirati man died and his brother was injured after an accident in Ras Al Khaimah on Thursday morning. The 21-year-old national died after his vehicle collided with the truck.
The horrific collision occurred between the vehicle driven by the young man and a truck driven by an Asian driver, according to a police official. The accident occurred because a safe distance was not maintained between the two vehicles.
The police rushed to the scene of the accident immediately after receiving the report, and the national ambulance patrol team also rushed to the scene.
The remains of the deceased and the injured brother were transferred to the hospital. After completing the necessary paperwork, the body was handed over to the family. The younger brother was transferred to hospital for treatment with “moderate” injuries.
