UAE hosts Gulf leaders including Qatar, Egypt, Jordan

The United Arab Emirates hosted regional leaders in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday for a summit, including those from Qatar and Egypt, in a bid to further regional integration.

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ) receives Oman Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Bahrain King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa France, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, King Abdullah II of Jordan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in Abu Dhabi. According to the official Emirates News Agency, the theme of the meeting is “prosperity and stability in the region” and aims to promote cooperation among the countries.

Next week, the India-UAE Partnership Summit will be held in Dubai, Gulf News reported.
