Dubai: It will be a hot and humid day, so residents of the UAE are advised to bring umbrellas to protect themselves from the scorching sun. Also, wear light clothing as the humidity can be as high as 90%.
According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the weather will turn partly cloudy by the afternoon, with some eastward-facing clouds likely to convect over the mountains.
Maximum temperatures in the interior of the country are expected to be between 44 and 48°C. Temperatures will reach 38 to 43°C in coastal areas and islands, and 30 to 35°C in mountains.
Al Foah in Al Ain recorded a minimum temperature of 23.5°C at 5.30am yesterday.
At 2.30pm, the maximum temperature in Sweihan, Ain was 49.1°C.
Humidity will be as high as 75-90% along the coast, while 65-85% is expected inland.
We are expecting light to moderate southwest to northwest winds, clearing at times during the day, causing dust to be kicked up at 15 – 25 to 40km/h.
The waters in the Arabian Gulf are relatively calm to mild, and the Sea of Oman is mild.
