(network of countries in the middle east africa– khaleej times) Posted: Tue Jun 27, 2023 7:28 PMAbu Dhabi Police distributed gifts to 50 children at the Ain Tawa Center and the Zayed Aliya Foundation on the occasion of Eid al-Adha on Tuesday. This is part of the “Joy of Eid” organized by the Traffic and Patrol Department of Al Ain.
Colonel Matar Abdullah al-Mahiri, director of the department, said picture books were also distributed to children as part of the initiative. He said the initiative aimed at integrating children into society by providing them with opportunities to participate in various activities.
As part of the program, the children also got to know the Children’s Traffic Patrol Car, a small car equipped with smart screens, cameras and various other technologies. In this way, children learn about the nature of police work.
The children also received lectures on traffic safety and rules.
