Ganesh Shinde, a resident of Thana, India, won the first prize with lottery number 0207 in the Millennial Millionaire Series 363.
The 36-year-old’s father is currently on vacation, waiting for his deployment to work in Brazil.
“This is a great opportunity. I am very happy and thankful for Dubai Duty Free,” he said.
Since the start of the Millennial Millionaire Promotion in 1999, Shinde is the 181st Indian to win a $1 million prize. Indians are the largest number of tax-free millennial millionaire ticket buyers in Dubai.
After the Millennial Millionaire Draw, the best surprise draw was conducted for two luxury cars.
Justin French, a 52-year-old Australian who lives in Dubai, bought the Finest Surprise Series 1778 online on July 2 and won the Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic 5.0 (silver) car with ticket number 0222 .
Rohit Mote, a 30-year-old Nepalese living in Abu Dhabi, bought a BMW R NineT Scrambler (black storm metal/racing red) motorcycle online on July 1, with ticket number 0575 Finest Surprise Series 461.
