Less than two hours after its release in the UAE, the brand new iPhone 14 hit classifieds sites – and it was resold at a premium of almost AED 1,500.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB, originally priced at AED 5,099 at the Apple store, is now on sale for AED 6,500 on popular website Dubizzle.

Advertised as a “direct purchase from the Apple Store with receipt and full warranty”, the phone is said to be only available today.

Here is a screenshot of the ad on the website:

All iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max phones are currently sold or pre-ordered at Apple’s Dubai Mall branch.

Earlier today, hundreds of people lined the flagship store for more than four hours to snap up the new iPhone 14 and its iterations.

Dr. Mohannad, who arrived with a bag of cash, went to the mall as early as 4am, waiting to buy four devices for himself and his family.

The UAE is one of the first countries where the US tech giant has launched its latest smartphone, which was launched on September 7.

Apple is pricing the iPhone 14 at Dh3,399; iPhone 14 Plus at Dh3,799; iPhone 14 Pro at Dh4,299; and iPhone 14 ProMax at Dh4,699 in the UAE.
