UAE: Largest helicopter centre launched in Dubai – News

The Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Centre in collaboration with Air Chateau International, witnessed by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman and Chairman of Dubai Airports, It unveiled its new helicopter hub, Dubai Helicopter Park, on Tuesday. and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group.

The new centre, which spans over 42,800 square metres and is adjacent to the VIP terminal in Dubai South, will be delivered in two phases, with the first phase now operational and the second phase due for completion in 2023.

The state-of-the-art Helicopter Centre is the largest of its kind and accommodates eight helicopters to facilitate transportation between business centres and tourist destinations across the UAE. In addition, it features a VIP lounge for meeting, greeting and briefings with potential Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs) arriving at the VIP terminal.

In addition to providing the best facilities for ultra-high net worth individuals arriving by private jet, Air Chateau will also provide Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul (MRO) services. It will also include a showroom featuring the latest helicopters displayed by the world’s leading manufacturers.

These operations will provide a window for numerous private helicopter owners, individuals and businesses to consider renting a parking space on site, with guaranteed easy access to other heliports.

Through this partnership, Air Chateau International will leverage its more than 50 years of aviation industry expertise to deliver, manage and operate the center.

The ceremony was attended by Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aerospace; Tahnoon Saif, CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub; Dr. Samir Mohamed, Chairman and Founder of Air Chateau International; Shilton Tony Irudayaraj, Co-Founder of Air Chateau International, and others senior management.

“We are delighted with the launch of the new Dubai Helicopter Park, which will provide ultra-high net worth individuals with seamless flights from DWC to multiple helipads in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other locations in the UAE. As tourists flock to the emirate to take part Expo 2020 Dubai, Ultra-high net worth individuals are expected to use the most luxurious and exclusive transportation to meet their needs during their visit to Dubai, we expect to see a significant increase in helicopter rental and short-haul transportation during Expo 2020, with UHNWIs are targeted and centrally targeted,” Saif said.

Irudayaraj said: “Following the delivery of the first phase, we are exploring opening the grounds for tourists visiting Dubai and using helicopter services to enjoy Dubai’s beautiful skyline. We will also strive to offer single- and twin-engine flights to provide visitors with a unique Night flight experience.”

The new centre will also house the UAE’s largest helicopter sales showroom and training centre, offering a range of services to helicopter owners.
