The ‘U-Ask’ platform, a unified AI chatbot for government services, is now available on the UAE Government’s official portal.

Using generative AI technology, the platform allows users to access information about government services in one place in Arabic and English, including service requirements, relevant information based on their preferences, and direct links to apps.

Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Development and Future of Government and Chairman of the Government’s Higher Committee on Digital Transformation, said the platform will enable the Committee to achieve its goals of advancing the government’s digital efforts, integrating and coordinating its projects, and increasing the efficiency of its systems.

Al Roumi added that the UAE government’s digital systems are being continuously improved by the committee, which involves upgrading relevant infrastructure and systems in line with its commitment to provide simplified services that meet people’s needs.

According to Mohamed bin Taliah, director of government services at the UAE government, users can access government services easily and flexibly through the chatbot platform.

He added that the UAE government aims to provide a smoother and simpler user experience, noting that government services in the UAE serve different groups and sectors at home and abroad, and that this 24/7 information and support service is a step forward by the government. The platform is designed to address a wide range of inquiries and requests, from simple information to more complex service inquiries. It also provides comprehensive answers, including basic information and available service request methods.

Developed in collaboration with Microsoft and PwC Middle East, the platform can provide personalized recommendations and recommendations based on user preferences and previous interactions.
