The police have taken this initiative to improve the quality of life of the residents
In a new initiative by the police, lost and found items will now be delivered to your door.
Sharjah Police will deliver these items to residents of the emirate to improve their quality of life.
Colonel Yousef bin Harmoul, Chief of Integrated Police at the Sharjah Police Service, said the implementation of the first phase of the service has begun. “The service has a 97 percent completion rate,” he added.
This was launched last June in partnership with Osoul Smart Applications Company (Buraq).
Residents don’t even have to be home to have their items delivered.
Colonel bin Harmoul stressed that the Sharjah Police is keen to continue to develop its services to improve the quality of life of the residents.
The move is in line with the Home Office’s strategy to ensure the well-being of customers through the services provided.
Colonel bin Harmoul said the first phase of “services to receive and deliver discoveries” has been completed at the Wassett Consolidated Police Station. The implementation of the second phase of the Buhaira Integrated Police is ongoing at other police stations.
He added that the Sharjah Police is keen to step up its efforts to open the door to working with various stakeholders to achieve their goals and improve the quality of life for members of the community.
