United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan on Thursday announced $10 million in aid for relief and rehabilitation of flood-affected people in Pakistan, Sheikh Prime Minister Baz Sharif thanked him.
Prime Minister Sheikh Baz Sharif thanked the UAE Minister for his generous donations to the relief and rehabilitation of the affected population. A press release from the Prime Minister’s Office stated that this is the largest donation to date made at a personal level for flood survivors in the country. It demonstrates your deep love for the people of Pakistan and compassion for suffering humanity,” the Prime Minister said in a message to Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan’s message.
Prime Minister Sheikh Baz went on to say that the people of Pakistan will never forget this brotherhood as it will greatly help the country’s disaster relief and recovery of the people in the disaster areas.
The Prime Minister further stated that the UAE Minister’s love for the Pakistani people is a golden chapter in the brotherly relationship between the two countries.
Shortly after, DG ISPR also acknowledged the UAE minister’s efforts to help flood victims in Pakistan via its official Twitter handle.

Sheikh Nahyan Mabarak Al Nahyan, UAE 4th Minister of State for Tolerance and Coexistence and Chairman of Alfalah Bank, has pledged US$10 million 4fm to the Bank for disaster relief efforts in Pak, including Army flood mitigation and mitigation Bill 2 helps flood victims.
