UAE’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI) reaffirms its active role in strengthening the UAE’s global leadership in the maritime sector and cementing its dominance as a major trading hub, honored with the ‘Excellence in Governance – Maritime’ award at the ShipTek International Maritime Awards 2023. The recognition underscores the Ministry’s efforts to strengthen maritime operations and enhance the attractiveness of the UAE’s ports and the maritime services they offer.

Through its many efforts, MOEI has unified the UAE’s maritime sector, integrating the capabilities of the sector’s various entities and organizations. It also works to build collaborative bridges between leading global maritime clusters to encourage the exchange of innovative ideas and projects.

HE Al-Mansoori added: “At MOEI, we have always ensured that our aim to develop and strengthen alternative economic components of the oil sector is in line with the country’s ambitious goals and plans, such as the 50 projects. Some of our ports are in the international top 10 in terms of container throughput.
