UAE mobile network rebrands today: Have you seen it? – information

The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center in Dubai also sent out a text message encouraging residents to be part of another historic milestone in the country

Check the top left corner of your smartphone screen and you might see something new: The UAE’s main mobile network changed its name on Friday, marking yet another historic space adventure for the country.

To commemorate this incredible milestone, both “du” and “etisalat” changed their display names to add “Spacewalk”. Subscribers will now see a moving text in the upper left corner – saying “Spacewalk ETISALAT” or “Spacewalk du”.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center (MBRSC) in Dubai also sent out a text message on Thursday encouraging residents to watch and be part of the milestone.

Those wishing to share their thoughts and information about AlNeyadi on social media can use the hashtag #UAESpacewalk, which the center added to the text.
