‘She chose UAE National Day, a big day we will always remember’, says father after daughter’s birth

The UAE welcomed its first babies at midnight on its 51st National Day.
Abu Dhabi’s Burjeel Hospital welcomed baby girl Ghazal Hamza Al Quraan at 12.01am. The 3,600kg baby girl born to Jordanian couple Nadeen Al-Quraan and Hamza Mohamed was one of the first babies to be born in the early hours of this special day.
Dr Fady Georges Hachem, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist who delivered the baby, congratulated the family on their little happiness.
The baby’s father, Mohammad, said: “We thank Almighty God for giving us his blessing on this special day for baby Ghazal. We are delighted to welcome our newest family member. I would also like to commend the excellent service provided by Burjeel Hospital My sincerest thanks. We were so impressed by the care and dedication of all the staff and the way they respected and empathized with my wife.”
Baby girl Almas at NMC Sharjah Royal Hospital
At the NMC Royal Hospital in Sharjah at 12.01am, baby girl Almas entered the life of Allazkanis – proud Syrian parents who already had two daughters.
Dr Mohammed Alhasoun, Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology, said: “I am delighted to deliver my first baby girl on UAE National Day at NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah. She is a healthy, beautiful girl and her mother is well. So, congratulations National salute, celebration of life with a free heart, a heart of faith, a memory of the soul, let us welcome children on our 51st National Day.”
Almas was delivered by Caesarean section at 38 weeks’ gestation, weighing 3.5 kg.
Her father, Mohammed Allazkani, said: “Here is our beautiful baby girl, Almas, and she looks like a world filled with all things beautiful. We are proud to welcome her, and her Some extra love from our two older sisters. We look forward to her birth and she chose UAE National Day, a momentous day that we will always remember. We wish the ruler of this country all the best and the best of luck.”

At Medeor Hospital in Abu Dhabi, a Syrian expatriate couple welcomed their third child at 12.01am. Little baby girl Ruganda Mustafa Angro weighing 3.130 kg was delivered by Dr. Walid El-Sherbiny (Professor), Consultant and Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the hospital.

Sharjah’s NMC Royal Hospital welcomed baby Meheddin at 12.07am to parents Nour, a Syrian teacher, and Najm Eddin, a vocational medical representative. Mahuddin weighed 2.98 kilograms.
Dr Mais Ibrahim, Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology, said: “Both mother and baby are doing well. Congratulations to all the proud parents who have welcomed their new family members. The arrival of a new baby is sure to bring love and joy into your life. We pray that babies continue to provide for their Family brings joy and best wishes to them forever.”
Her mother, Nour, said: “Meheddin is our eldest son and the whole family is looking forward to it. His birth is always special and the National Day celebrations across the country feel like everyone is celebrating the day with us. He is our Blessings, I’ve never had a more memorable moment than this.”

Pakistani couple Haseena and Kashif Ali welcomed their first child at Zulekha Hospital in Dubai at 12.11am. The baby weighed 3.965 kg and was born naturally.

At the NMC Specialist Hospital in Abu Dhabi, a baby girl was born at 12.38am to Filipino parents.
Baby Scottie Alexis, weighing 3.36kg, was born to Kay Cabugao Delfin, a vocational nurse, and Alejandro Jeremias, a healthcare assistant (Alejandro Jeremias).
Dr Shubha Shankari, Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NMC Specialist Hospital, said: “I am delighted and excited to deliver my first child at NMC Specialist Hospital in Abu Dhabi, just in time for the UAE’s 51st National Day celebrations.”
Alejandro, a happy father, said: “We are very happy. We love this country because it has been our second home for the past four years. Our heartfelt thanks to NMC Specialist Abu Dhabi Excellent medical service at the hospital, especially thanks to Dr Shubha Shankari for taking excellent care of my wife during her pregnancy and delivery.”

At 12.46am, at the NMC Royal Hospital in Sharjah, a baby boy named Nouh entered the lives of Sanaa Alnims from Palestine and Mohammed Kamal, a computer engineer by profession.
Dr Mona Azmi, specialist in obstetrics and gynecology at the hospital, said: “Both the mother and the baby are doing well. I thank Allah for blessing the couple for giving birth to a healthy boy and making it a memorable experience for the parents.”
Nuh was born at 37 weeks of pregnancy and weighed 2.88 kg.
Mother Sana said: “We love Dr. Mona, she has become an integral part of our lives because of our children. Our third son is here, and his two brothers can’t wait to see him. Our whole family is very happy. Excited. Sharing this joyful moment with a greater piece of history – UAE National Day.
