The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast for partly cloudy to cloudy skies with some rain-related convective clouds covering scattered parts of the country, particularly along the coast, north and east, starting today.

Thursday will also be dominated by northerly and easterly breezes and moderate winds, with speeds of 15-25 to 40km/h at times westwards, while marine weather will be gale to moderate winds in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to light winds in the Sea of ​​Oman .

Mostly light to moderate winds on Friday, strengthening at times to the west, with winds of 10 – 20 km/h reaching 40 km/h, with light to moderate and severe weather expected overnight in the Arabian Gulf , while Oman has a slight weather sea.
At the same time, Saturday is generally cloudy, with low clouds and light rain over some coastal areas and islands in the west, and some inland areas may be wet in the morning.
Light to moderate winds will prevail, sometimes 10 – 20 moving westward, with winds reaching 40 km/h, while daytime offshore weather in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of ​​Oman will be light to moderate, sometimes westward moving.
Parts of the inland area will be wet early Sunday with generally cloudy skies and low cloud over parts of the western coast. Winds will remain light to moderate with wind speeds of 10 – 20 km/h at times and wind speeds of 35 km/h and seas in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of ​​Oman will experience light to moderate weather.
