ISPAH Abu Dhabi, whose shared vision is to promote an active, healthy society that provides opportunities for physical activity and active living for all, will bring together academics, practitioners, thought leaders and policymakers to discuss promoting the adoption of physical activity. The conference will feature keynote speeches and workshops on different topics.
Confirmed activities during the four-day period include a variety of yoga classes taught by BodyTree Studio, including Hatha, Tandem and Yin Yoga classes. Fitness First will also host two Zumba classes, while Desert Shield Fitness will engage audiences in low- and high-intensity workouts.
Additionally, Desert Shield will be hosting their “Ring the Bells” challenge, bringing together people from community and government teams through a series of team activities focused on the mind and body. The Challenge Fund will be donated to the Reach campaign to end neglected tropical diseases.
The conference will also host the “Spirit of Football – The Ball” (SOF) unified competition. SOF was established in 2002 as the equivalent of the Olympic torch to harness the power of football to address the most relevant challenges facing society and the planet, educating and advocating communities about selected SDGs, climate change, gender equality, fair play Abu Zabi’s game underscored the importance of physical fitness and well-being.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in the ongoing “Billion Steps” challenge, which is designed to encourage individuals to take one billion steps collectively at the end of the Abu Dhabi conference on October 26.
